Etihad Salam Telecom Company (Salam), a leading provider of telecommunications services and digital infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, announced a five-year framework agreement valued at SAR 22.5 million with CEER National Automotive Company, Saudi Arabia's first electric vehicle (EV) brand and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The partnership was unveiled at LEAP 2026, where Salam participated as a strategic sponsor under its theme, "Powering what's next."

The Local Content and Government Procurement Authority (LCGPA) announced the signing of two agreements to localize the industry and transfer knowledge for electric vehicles with CEER, in exchange for inclusion on the mandatory list of national products. This comes as part of both parties' efforts to achieve the Kingdom's local content agenda, by localizing industries, strengthening national industrial capabilities, and empowering this promising sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
SABIC Signs MoU with CEER to Explore Collaboration on Electric Vehicle Industry in the Kingdom
SABIC, a global leader in diversified chemicals, announced today the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CEER, Saudi Arabia’s first electric vehicle (EV) brand and original technology equipment, to explore opportunities for collaboration in applying SABIC's advanced materials and innovative solutions in the design, development, and manufacture of CEER's electric vehicles. The MoU also aims to evaluate mutually beneficial commercial opportunities and define the terms of potential collaboration.
